Geneva Books Two Dates

joeGeneva accidentally booked two dates one night.  She scheduled a date with Joe (the guy she eventually married) and another guy.  Oh boy.  Hardly a bad problem to have several men to chose from… but two dates scheduled at one time!   She was in a panic!

The first guy arrives to pick up Geneva.  And, then here comes Joe, into the house.  She had scheduled them at exactly the same time!  Not a good situation!

Sister Sara was quickly “to the rescue!”  Sara said to Joe, “Come on!  You and I are going to the movies.”

Joe, being a gentleman and not wanting to make matters worse for Geneva, shook hands with the other guy and took on the role of “cousin.”

Geneva headed off with her date as Joe and Sara headed off to the movies.  Well, that was easy!

It seemed that it was all going to work out… at least until Sara and Joe bumped into Kermit… a high school boy Sara had been dating.  More quick thinking was necessary!

She calmly turned to Kermit, introduced her “cousin Joe” and all was fine once again!

That Joe…. what a guy!  What a sport!

And I imagine… shortly after that night, Geneva rushed out to buy a date book!

Sara’s Sister’s “Stretched Out Elastic” Episode

How bad am I going to get in trouble for telling this story?

Maybe if I don’t name the sister that it happened to, I will be ok!  So… sorry!  You will have to guess which of Sara’s sisters it was!  Don’t ask them which one is was either… they will cover for each other!

It’s a short story, but a funny one.

Sara and ‘her sister’ went shopping.  They were just walking along and… all of a sudden,

…Sara’s sister’s panties fell down!  Way down!  They fell down all the way to her ankles!  Now, mind you… she is walking as this happened!   Yes, the elastic was very stretched out… it had seen better days.  Times were hard, you know.  People worked hard for their money and made things last.  Sometimes that included underwear, I assume!   Unfortunately, these days, everything is so “disposable!”

You are wondering what happened next, aren’t you? 

Well, Sara’s sister never ‘skipped a beat.’   She quickly kicked the panties up into her hand, slipped them discretely in her handbag and kept on walking.  Now that is ‘amazing!’  I imagine there was a little bit of giggling going on between the two sisters… and one of them had a breezy walk home!   And I would also wager that some new panties were purchased!

In planning this post, I decided to search for a ‘visual’ to go with it.  Considering the subject matter… I had to be very careful, as you can imagine, in finding the right one.   I found a great one.  I don’t know the history behind the painting, but it fit the purpose well.   And here it is:
