I’ve been searching for parents of Beverly Braxton Bohannon (Bohannan) for years! I see that you have the missing piece. My information showed him born in 1798 in VA, but I see you have him born in NC. Wow! This is great! Where did you gather this information?
    Thanks,

I am a descendant of Beverly Braxton Bohannon. I see from your posting of 12/11/2008 “Bohannon Line, from Icy backward” that you list the father of Beverly Braxton Bohannon as being William. You also show Beverly Braxton Bohannon having a son “Eli”. My research shows no son “Eli”, and I am stuck at Beverly Braxton Bohannon. How do you make the William (father of Beverly) connection? My information shows Beverly born in VA in 1798. I see that you show him born in Wilkes Co, NC in 1798. Wilkes Co. is on the NC/VA border, so it’s certainly plausible. I am NOT insinuating that your information is incorrect; quite the contrary. If your info. is correct, then it’s a MAJOR break through for me! Needless to say, I am quite excited.

Back to Beverly… I show him with 6 children: Alexander Allen (my line), Naomi (Nancy), S., Sara, Martha A., and Andrew J. Again, I am curious as to your source that shows him having a son named “Eli”

I look forward to your response. Any information is very much appreciated.
    Thanks,
